Keep memory usage to a minimum

By keeping memory usage to a minimum, you will ensure that your applications run as efficiently as possible.

Go into the administrative tools menu -> Performance tools and run Systems monitor. To check the memory usage of a specific application click on the add button and access process. From the list of counters choose working set. This will tell you just how much memory the application is using. By adding more memory the application will run much faster and responsiveness will be significantly improved.

Go into Start Menu -> Accessories -> Systems Tools you can see just how much or how little memory the application uses

Increase your RAM

Increasing your RAM is one of the best ways to improve your computers operating speed, not only is it a cheap method of increasing operating speed but will allow you to run more applications without affecting performance.  If you are unsure what RAM you need for your type of PC/Laptop check your manual or look on the net you will find lots of info to help you.

The time is now 3D

It seems as though technology has now truly entered the third dimension. I am amazed at the 3D applications that are currently being produced. The children of tomorrow will be scarily intelligent and knowledgeable. I trust technology to make the world a better place.
