Retrospective :: Does a belief in god mean anything in the 21st Century?

In truth I am quietly pleased that my previous posting seemed so controversial.  I believe the posting was a very important lesson not only for myself but I am sure for many of my readers and beyond.

Firstly, it taught me that being able to share your thoughts and feelings is fundamental in a liberal and democratic society. Moreover,  it is this freedom that allows societies to flourish and grow.

My belief system defined by a liberal democratic society makes me proud to be part of a state that is willing to share its ideas, thoughts and reflections in a truly connected world.

Hope is ever closer to me in the metaphysical realm and engaging this realm has left my personal beliefs stronger than ever.  I'd like to thank all those  that contributed to the writing of this post.

Does a belief in god mean anything in the 21st Century?

I have come to a cross roads in my life.  Whether I do or do not believe in god.  God so we believe is omnipresent, this means that god is everywhere all of the time.  By this definition we may be led to believe no one can avoid gods judgement.  Through reading and learning religious text we can be guided through the moral maze.

So my thoughts lead me onto the question; Is god relevant in the twenty first century?  When the gap between the rich and poor continues to grow. People are excluded from society simply because of where they live. It seems these days it is not what you know but how much money you have in the bank.  If your bank balance is not up to scratch then you might just as well forget a career. By this logic you may come to ask,  how can we ever be part of a developing society?  Doesn't this attitude to politics make it a nonsense? Surely, if you are living in poverty don't you want to work yourself out of it?

With so many problems to resolve and so many issues to discuss, isn't there enough work for everyone?  Meeting in a group with other church members can actually question your belief in god. Moreover, young professionals who have grown up in a middle class environment these days, it seems think they have the right to work simply because of their background, education, or belief system.  Is this right? Is this fair?

If you believe in god, is there any point in telling the truth? What does it actually mean to tell the truth? Should we simply lie to get what we want, after all, aren't we all forgiven for our sins.  If this is true whats the point in believing in god?  Sin and to hell with it, because after all you will be forgiven anyway, so what does it matter?

I think we all have a moral and social responsibility to tell the truth so long as we are not hurting ourselves and others, for how much is it worth to live in deceit.

Utopia is dead, long live Entropia

In a desire for the perfect world, it doesn't and cannot exist.  How can it exist, in a place where no one agrees about everything?  The multiverse has so many questions and so many different answers.  A choir of information all creating a different sound.  Entropia on the other hand is a true paradise.  An entity which is still to be discovered.  What does this multiverse look like?  How will it be formed.  Will we be part of this discovery?  In the Entropian multiverse time never stops still.  It has infinite dimensions.  There is not one time but time is infinitely infinite.  The systemic discovery of the entropic multiverse never stops still.  Once the unknown becomes known it then dies and moves to the past world of Utopia. The systemic will continue on its journey, searching, thinking, discovering, creating and sharing.  To boldly go where no one has gone before.

It's rich coming from you!

How you ever wondered how the rich earn their money?

Well if you think about this logically its quite simple really to understand, once you know how of course.

The most obvious way of getting rich is first to THINK BIG.

Yes that's right, sounds a bit of an old cliché these days but it is the best way to get rich.

2.  Keep it SIMPLE - keeping what you do simple and straightforward will make your life a whole lot easier and you're less bound to make mistakes in the longer term.

3. Have a GOOD name.  Now this does not even have to be your own name, many people make their names up.

4.  Be ORIGINAL -  No one wants the same thing over and over again.

5.  Be slightly MAD - Honestly in this world it does help to be slightly bonkers, even if you might get some strange looks occasionally.  Richard Branson isn't exactly your regularly guy now is he?

6.  HELP other people.  You will become rich by helping other people, it's the most enjoyable way to becoming wealthy.

7.  Keep a sense of HUMOUR.  There is no point becoming rich and being a sad lonely person - after all, what's the point in that?

8.  If it doesn't work the first time, TRY, TRY AND TRY AGAIN.  Many successful people did not get it right the first time - I guarantee you.

9.  Do what you enjoy - you won't be good at something if you don't ENJOY IT, and last but not least.

10 .  When you are successful - SHARE your success with your friends, after all that's what friends are for.  Good luck.
