Keep you drivers up to date.

Ensure that your drivers are up to date.  Not sure what drivers are?  They are programs that enable your hardware to work such as sound and graphics cards. 
New drivers should fix any memory leaks.  If you are unsure how much memory a program is using click on the Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) while you are running the application and check out the page file usage.  It will tell you how much virtual memory is being used.

Ever wanted to know how to make XP run faster? Your PC just running slow and you are using Windows XP? then over the next couple of months I will be posting tips and advice on how you can get more from your existing PC.  So in the first of a series of posts I'm going to state what some people might think is the obvious.

Increase your RAM

Increasing your RAM is one of the best ways to improve your computers operating speed, not only is it a cheap method of increasing operating speed but will allow you to run more applications without affecting performance.  If you are unsure what RAM you need for your type of PC/Laptop check your manual or look on the net you will find lots of info to help you.

2009 has not been the best of years it has to be said.  I personally have found it extremely hard work.  People adapting to social and economic changes  it seems have also found 2009 a difficult year.

Let us all hope that 2010 turns out to be a better year for many and that we are all able to look forward and be hopeful about the future.

With my ever growing array of social media accounts, I was becoming increasingly frustrated having to manage them all. Flock social media browser is the perfect solution. Very useable with great functionality. I had registered all my accounts and was receiving feeds within minutes. I highly recommend it.
